Web Development
The work involved in the development of website for the internet or an intranet is called as Web development. Wen development includes web design, web content development, client liaison, client-side/server-side scripting, web server and network security configuration and ecommerce development. Many web professional consider web development to me more of a technical development rather than the creative aspect of web development; that means web development focuses on the non-design aspect of developing a website such as writing mark-up and coding. The development of the website includes developing the simple static single page to the most complex web-based internet applications, electronic businesses or social network services.
The typical areas which the web development carries out consist of; client side coding in which the XHTML coding is used and stored in a web browser and the server side code is unavailable to the client and is executed on the web server; which is sent to the client by producing the XHTML code. The client sider coding includes JavaScript, Flash, Ajax and so on. The second type is the server side coding which handles the applications involving usability, maintainability, quality and reliability. Web development has become very important in recent times and hence has also developed web engineering which promotes systemic, disciplined and quantified approach towards high-quality, ubiquitously usable web-based system and applications.
All the methods, techniques and tools which are used in web development help in developing and evolving the evaluation of the website. The server side code also uses software, information system or computer application development also.
The third type is the client side + server side. The Google Web Toolkit which provides tools to maintain JavaScript front end applications in Java, Opa which is a language implemented for both client and server part is a high-level language, Pyjamas which is a tool for developing Ajax application and Rich internet application and tarsus which is a visually interfaced user interface; are all a part of the client side + server side coding. All these are the areas where web development is concentrated upon while developing a website for maintaining the security of the content.
